STYLING & MAKE-UP
For a casual, sophisticated curly mane, spray Volumising Lotion on to damp hair. The first step is to blow-dry the hair in all directions with a flat styling brush. The second step is to curl the hair with medium-width curling irons, preferably working from r00ts to ends. To protect the hair first spray Curl Protect & Style on to every strand, which also makes the curls last longer. Finally, working from a zig-zag side parting, brush out the hair and style as desired. Finish with a little Molding Cream worked through mid-lengths to ends.
In just a few simple steps, transform the daytime look into a romantic one. The daytime styling is used as the basis for this look. Loosely turn the hair inwards at the nape (you can use a hair rat) and secure with hair pins or clips. To give the style a laid-back cool finish loosen a little hair at each side. Finish with some Powder Spray on the hair.
The complexion must be even. Ideally, you should use a base that is balancing without looking mask-like. Light and shadow – contouring and strobing – also play an important role. The eyebrows are naturally accentuated. Balance them with the matching eyebrow pencil and then fix their shape with a conditioning product. The eyes look expressive, but are not too darkly emphasised. Thicken the upper lash line with a dark waterproof eyeliner. Use a large fan brush to apply brown eyeshadow on to the entire top lid and blend slightly outwards towards the eyebrow. This brown shade is also applied to the entire bottom lash
line. Mascara is mainly applied to the top lashes. If you prefer a more radiant daytime look apply a light eyeliner to the bottom lash line.
For a more dramatic evening look, apply the dark eyeliner to the lower lash line and also apply mascara to the lower lashes. The lips are also given a nude shade to ensure everything is tone on tone. Colour and shine may vary depending on whether you want a light or glamorous look. Fill in the entire lips with a lip liner to ensure the colour stays true for longer.
