VIP magnet Berlin! The Fashion Week (28 June to 1 July) attracts stars from all over the world to Berlin’s famous Spree River. Many VIPs attended Tuesday evening’s Marc Cain Show in the City Cube at Berlin’s Messedamm. The renowned fashion company presented the new spring/summer 2017 collection to the guests, and numerous national and international VIPs had front-row seats: these included Hollywood actress Milla Jovovich, top model Alessandra Ambrosio, acting icon Iris Berben, singer Lena Meyer-Landrut, Let’s Dance star Victoria Swarovski, actress Aylin Tezel and TV presenter Frauke Ludowig. They not only admired the cheerfully colourful and extraordinary creations, which were presented that evening under the motto “Happy Hour”,
but they were also blown away by the extraordinary hairstyles of the catwalk beauties. The team of approximately 30 La Biosthétique stylists styled the 50 models for the catwalk: led by Berlin-based star stylist Alexander Dinter, the team enthusiastically and passionately conjured up wonderful hairstyles to match the evening’s luxuriously feminine and casually sporty fashion presentations. Their creations included casual, loosely knotted ponytails, as well as wavy hairstyles in a trendy undone look. “We tried to give every model their own look and feel”, explained La Biosthétique International Creative Director Alexander Dinter. La Biosthétique Powder Spray and Glossing Spray were the main products used for the casually laid back catwalk looks.
In addition, the experts gave the attending bloggers and many of the VIPs the perfect look. This included actresses Jana Pallaske and Jennifer Ulrich, their Polish colleague Kamilla Baar and Victoria Swarovski who was very happy with her magical styling: “It’s my first time at the Berlin Fashion Week, which makes this a really special experience for me”. Aylin Tezel was pleased with her trendy styling: a casual ponytail to match her neon dress: “Here it’s all about fashion. You can wear your own style and go the extra mile”. Actress Caroline Vera was also pampered right down to the tips of her hair: “Today, I treated myself to the wonderful luxury of letting an expert give me a beautiful hairstyle”. The show ended with plenty of applause not only for the casually elegant fashion, but also for the imaginative hairstyles. Star, fashion and hairstyling glamour in one evening!
She has been popular with the stars for years: fashion designer Dorothee Schumacher from Düsseldorf, Germany. And so it seemed self-evident that the VIP ladies weren’t going to miss this year’s fashion show as part of the Berlin Fashion Week!
Numerous fashion experts came to the unusual location “Elisabeth-Kirche”, a church in Berlin’s city centre Berlin-Mitte. This was the presentation venue for the fashion designer’s new spring/summer 2017 collection of her Schumacher label. Motto: “Romantic Dreams”. The show ended with thundering applause from the celebrities, fashion editors and bloggers for the feminine and sophisticated creations (all styles of trousers were the focus – some casual, some with flounces, some with slits), as well as the hairstyles of the catwalk beauties! La Biosthétique styled the models for the catwalk, just as they had done the previous day for the big Marc Cain Show. In addition, Alexander Dinter’s team of stylists was also responsible for styling the designer. “Today, the focus was on the wet look”, explained star stylist Alexander Dinter. “A styling with lots of shine at the top of the head and a centre parting. The hair is not fixed, but movable and supports the collection’s look”. At the top of the head La Biosthétique Style Pomade was used for the wet look and Molding Cream for the lengths and tips. This caused a big splash with the models ... And so at the catwalk finale there was a standing ovation not only for the fashion, but also for the hairstyles.
