So you’d like to refresh your hair? You can do this without colour

Until you can refresh your hair colour in your La Biosthétique salon, there are a few tricks you can use in the meantime to tide you over. We’ll show you a few sophisticated looks for quickly and easily concealing your regrowth.

Trick 1: One scarf, one look

Preparation

For an easier styling, more structure and relaxed body, first spray Powder Spray into dry hair, and then brush it gently into shape with the classic La Biosthétique Styling Brush or the heat- and chemical-resistant Paddle Brush .

Styling

Place a scarf that has been folded several times at the front of the hairline, and then knot it at the back of the head. Then wrap the ends of the scarf back to the front, and fasten them with a pretty double knot. The remaining ends of the scarf can be either loosely placed over the hair at the back of the head or the hairline, depending on your preference.

Finish

Finish the style by spraying Formule Laque Fine hairspray into the hair. This provides extraordinary texture, light hold, more body and fixes the look without weighing it down. This keeps the hair soft, and makes it look particularly smooth. Finish by loosening the hairstyle with your fingers, check it again and, if needed, apply some more hairspray to your hair. The effect? You can no longer see the roots.

Trick 2: Easy blow-dry look

Preparation

Ideally after washing, start at the hairline and comb all your hair back. Then apply the two-phase protein spray Beauté Essence de Protéine to hair that is still damp. It acts as a protective film, and quickly and effectively supplies particularly hair in need of care with softness, elasticity and silky shine. Then evenly apply Volumiser to the hair, and don’t forget the hair ends. The weightless gel gives the hair texture you can feel and visibly more volume. Now gently brush the hair back.

Styling

To prevent damaging your hair and gently style it, it is best to evenly and gradually blow-dry it with circling motions, around the head, strand by strand. Move the blow-dryer down to the tips to create natural volume and smoothness. It is best to alternate between the Paddle Brush Denman, a classic English product with protective ball-ended plastic bristles and the Ceramic Hair Brush C-2000 by La Biosthétique, featuring ionising bristles for an anti-static and fast-drying effect to create lots of shine and volume.

Finish

Starting at the hairline, gently brush the hair into shape, perfect the look with the fingers and finish by spraying Formule Laque Fine hairspray into the hair. Use this to fix your style without weighing it down. Your style will look natural with wonderfully beautiful shine and you will hardly notice the regrowth.

Trick 3: Easy Day Look

Preparation

First, roughly blow-dry the dry hair to amplify the texture. Then, add more structure and body by spraying Powder Spray into the hair, and then style the hair with either the Paddle Bürste Denman or with the classic Styling Brush. The wooden brush with wild boar and nylon bristles gives the hair wonderful shine.

Styling

Now brush the hair back on one side of the head, behind the ear, and fix it with Formule Laque Fine. The hairspray has a microfine soft mist for ultralight firmness and gentle hold. Now take the desired hair clips or accessories to fasten the hair back. Several hair clips next to each other give the look a very special touch.

Finish

For a perfect finish and to emphasise hold and shine, apply some more Formule Laque Fine to the hair, and finish by carefully perfecting the style with the fingers. One thing is certain: With this look the undesirable regrowth is no longer a problem.

Trick 4: Bun with scarf

Vorbereitung

Use some Soft Texture Spray, and simply blow-dry the hair with the fingers. The texturising Sea Salt Spray provides silky matte, textured finish. For weightless hold you can also use La Biosthétique Formule Laque Fine. Spray it into the hair, and use the Paddle Brush Denman D83 Large to completely brush the hair back over the top of the head before fastening it into a ponytail with a hair tie.

Styling

Now use some Heat Protector to protect your hair, and give it an incomparable shine. The ponytail is then wound strand by strand over a straightening iron to make it look fuller. Then, securely fasten the scarf with a hair pin above the hair tie, carefully back-comb the hair in the ponytail with a comb, and loosely wind the scarf into the hair lengths. Now tie the ponytail into a pretty topknot with the scarf, and fasten it with hair pins. You can then tie the remaining ends of the scarf around the bun, and knot them loosely.

Finish

Pluck the bun into shape with your fingers, and give the style extra hold with Formule Laque Fine.

Trick 5: Braids with scarf

Preparation

First, spray some Soft Texture Spray into the hair, blow-dry it, and loosely shape with the fingers.

Styling

Make a centre parting, fold the scarf several times and place it in the middle at the top of the hairline, pinning it so that both ends of the scarf are the same length. Now create a centre parting at the back of the head, and make a braid, first on the left, then on the right. Directly include the scarf in the braid.

Finish

Fix the look with Formule Laque Fine hairspray, and shape with the fingers.
