The Germans conquer the Paris Fashion Week! One day after the wonderful show of the Berlin label Lana Mueller Couture, on Saturday the Munich-based label Talbot Runhof caused another sensation at the River Seine. In the elegant “Salon Imperial” in the luxury Paris hotel “The Westin”, the renowned designer duo Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof presented their latest creations for the autumn-winter 2017/18 season. This time with a political message! The show’s motto was “Lie to me” and the fake news debate featured in all the headlines was given a fashionable interpretation for the first time ever. For the finale the two fashion designers sent their models on to the catwalk with shirts and dresses emblazoned with messages such as “Unpresidented”, “Persist”, “Lie to me” and “Sad”! A clear dig at US President Donald Trump.
The hairstyles, which were once again created by the amazing team of La Biosthétique, also had a clear message: modern glamour! La Biosthétique Creative Director Alexander Dinter worked with his international team, Kathrin Zenk, Alexander von Trentini, Dashi Krasnici, Theo Dimitri and Serdal Bengi from Germany to create cool and elegant looks: a low chignon tied into a loop to look both sporty and elegant! Just like the designers’ fashion - a skilful mix of feminine chic and sportswear.
