La Biosthétique and Lana Mueller Couture share a special relationship - La Biosthétique was once again a beauty partner for Berlin Fashion Week 2018.
The Berlin label, which was founded as recently as 2015, is already an integral part of Berlin Fashion Week and the international fashion scene. Founder Lana Mueller was born in Kazakhstan and grew up in Hamburg. In just a short time, she has won, as enthusiastic fans of her contemporary, sensuous fashion, both German celebrities such as Palina Rojinski and Eva Padberg, but also international stars such as Demi Lovato.
Hollywood in Berlin
For the presentation of the new autumn/winter collection on Wednesday, 17 January, 2018, Lana Mueller selected an off location away from the ewerk, which proved to be the perfect fit: she presented her homage to femininity in the form of spectacular couture on the first floor of the legendary Restaurant Borchardt on Französische Straße between Gendarmenmarkt and Friedrichstraße, in the presence of 250 invited guests, including Minu Barati-Fischer, Nadeshda Brennicke, Mina Tander, Lavinia Wilson and Natalia Wörner. Borchardt is supposedly one of the world's most renowned restaurants, and even the New York Times dubbed it the "Best Restaurant in Town". On the first floor, between billiard tables, a library and opulent leather sofas, stucco and the finest carpets, the models strolled through the crowd of guests and presented a breathtaking collection full of sensuality, femininity and contemporary tailoring. Delicate fabrics, such as hand-painted velvet and fine chiffon, were combined with elegant lace and exciting details. In the unique colour selection rich green met elegant sorbet shades and pale blue.
Fashion remains the focus
Of course, the La Biosthétique Beauty Team also made a small contribution to this wonderful success, presenting fashion without the classic runway in the midst of the audience, in the impressive off location, away from the #MBFW catwalk in the ewerk. In the run-up to the #MBFW, the La Biosthétique hair and make-up experts Steffen Zoll and International Creative Director Alexander Dinter personally dedicated themselves to developing the right styles for the models. These aimed to elegantly and subtly emphasise the bold and daring yet elegant and sophisticated new Lana Mueller collection. Hair and make-up complemented rather than upstaged the statement-making clothes. The fashion remained the focus. Consequently, the make-up look created by Steffen Zoll is very transparent and based on a healthy looking skin.

"We used Teint Naturelle in combination with La Capsule Hydratant as a base. Highlights were added with Glamour Kit Silver. Orange Breeze eyeshadow was used to fill in the top and bottom lid. Soft Orange Blush gave a slight flush to the cheeks. Daily Care Lipstick was used to moisturise the lips".

"We created a hair look that was special but also rather reserved. The look is a little reminiscent of Helmut Lang, it is very reduced with a style that hugs the head. We used Classic Gel and to add a little moisture to the lengths and tips of the hair we applied Botanique's Intense Styling Creme, which was used very often during Fashion Week. This is a new product that we all really love".
Tradition of the perfect symbiosis
Accordingly, it was an honour and a joy for La Biosthétique to accompany the unusual presentation of the new Lana Mueller autumn/winter 2018 collection as a beauty partner. As in previous years, it was a particular joy for La Biosthétique to be a partner for the always eyecatching collections of Lana Mueller Couture. Once again, all participants performed an excellent collaboration to successfully stage the outstanding fashion of Lana Mueller Couture with the looks of the models.
